Mental Health Resources
At Walled Garden Counselling, I recognise that there may be times when you need support more urgently than a scheduled counselling session can provide.
This page contains information about crisis services, mental health support organisations, and LGBTQ+ resources available throughout the United Kingdom.
Please note that Walled Garden Counselling is not a crisis or emergency service. If you require immediate support, please do not contact me. Instead, contact the appropriate service below.
If You Are In Immediate Danger
If you believe that you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, or if there is a life-threatening emergency:
Call 999 immediately
or
Attend your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.
Mental health emergencies are emergencies, and it is always appropriate to seek urgent help when safety is at risk.
If You Need Urgent Mental Health Support
If you need urgent help for your mental health but there is no immediate danger to life:
Call NHS 111 and select the Mental Health option
NHS 111 can connect you with trained mental health professionals who can assess your situation and help you access appropriate support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If You Need Someone To Talk To Right Now
Samaritans is a free, confidential listening service available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

If you are considering working together through counselling and would like to explore whether the practice may be a good fit for your needs, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange a complimentary consultation.
